Reports into Letting Agent Today suggest there’s still some confusion over new regulations surrounding electrical checks in the private rental sector.
If that’s the case, there may be a useful Q&A session next week, hosted on Facebook by the Electrical Safety First charity.
The event is focussed primarily on the private rental sector and is being chaired by ESF’s technical director Martyn Allen, at 1pm on August 4.
Electrical Safety First describes itself as the only UK charity dedicated to reducing deaths, fires and injuries, caused by electricity in the home.
Well known for its high profile consumer awareness campaigns, it is also recognised by government and industry as a leading campaigning charity and technical authority on home electrical safety.
