Another new Build To Rent development announced

The Build To Rent specialist operator Wise Living has announced a new scheme in Lincolnshire being built in partnership with developer Seagate Homes Group UK.

With the build programme due to get underway next month, the development will offer 53 new two and three-bedroom rental homes in Boston.

The project forms part of Wise Living’s five-year growth plan, which aims to build more than 10,000 BTR homes by 2025.

“One of the main purposes of Wise Living is to challenge current standards in the UK private rental sector. From day one, we have focused on high quality, purpose built family housing to drive a better standard of living for tenants” explains Mark Gratton, development and land manager at Wise Living. 

He continues: “It’s not just about building a house in a random location and then walking away. It needs to be much more about identifying the ideal sites, maintaining properties and communal spaces to high standards and creating and nurturing communities.

“The current pandemic certainly hasn’t lowered demand, in fact it’s been the opposite, with entire development phases being completely reserved online in just a matter of weeks during lockdown.” 

The company says a key part of its growth strategy is partnering with regional and national developers to deliver BTR schemes. With work due to commence in Boston imminently, Seagate Homes Group UK joins a list of development partners that includes Keon Homes and Lovell Homes.

Wise Living also has developments in Telford, Birkenhead, Mansfield and Coventry, with a number of new sites set to be announced in the coming months.
