Martyn Gerrard Estate Agent is the latest agency to partner with a deposit alternative supplier - in this case flatfair.
Tenants at Martyn Gerrard, which has 12 branches across North London, can now use flatfair’s No Deposit solution.
The agency says in higher rental value areas such as London, where a deposit for a one-bedroom property costs renters more than £1,500 on average, the scheme can save individual tenants thousands in up-front costs.
The partnership also means landlords with Martyn Gerrard will be among the first to be able to use flatfair’s new Boost product, encouraging landlords to top up damage protection.
Simon Gerrard, managing director at the agency, says: “We are committed to constantly improving the rental experience for both our landlords and tenants, so we are delighted to announce our partnership with flatfair.
“As the UK works to recover from the economic impacts of the pandemic, flatfair offers added peace of mind to landlords while doing away with up-front costs for renters, putting that money back in their pocket.”
