Essex Police Force has tweeted a pair of photographs that go to prove agents should check a property before going on a rental viewing.

A police officer was off duty and searching for a new home of his own when he went with an agent to a rental property…only to find part of the property had been given over to a cannabis factory.

Tip of the day, suggested the police force tweet – “It’s probably best you remove your cannabis grow from your garage.”

As they say, you’ll never find Phil and Kirstie going ahead with a viewing before checking first…
