A new agency is opening in the Home Counties and claims to offer vendors and landlords “a fresh, modern and energetic alternative to selling or letting their home.”

Hat and Home is operating at Wokingham in Berkshire and has been set up by Ben Gee, an agent with 20 years experience in the industry, most recent as regional sales director at Marsh & Parsons, overseeing 12 offices across central and west London.

The firm’s office has been launched but with Covid-safe restrictions meaning it is currently not open fully.

It features retro furniture, a living moss wall, a vintage slot machine and bowler hat lights and the firm says this “has been designed to make clients feel totally at ease.”

The agency is offering introductory rates for sellers and landlords – sellers can expect to pay 0.5 per cent plus VAT and landlords 5.0 per cent + VAT if they instruct before March 30.
