Independent agency EuroLet, operating in Bishop’s Stortford for the past 20 years, has been acquired by Leaders Romans Group.

LRG has welcomed EuroLet’s five existing employees to the group while it said the previous owners, Mark Downing and Mark Vincent, have chosen to leave the business following a short handover period.

An LRG spokesperson has told local media in the area: “This acquisition forms part of an ambitious growth plan for LRG following a successful year of acquisitions throughout 2020. EuroLet, a single-office lettings business in Bishop’s Stortford, has been the area’s leading residential letting and property management agent for over 20 years.”

The company official continues: ”It has transitioned to become a Leaders branch in February and the move will also see LRG welcome the existing employees of EuroLet to the group. They will continue to use their expert knowledge of the local area to provide a friendly and efficient service to landlords and tenants.”

LRG has also expanded in the East Midlands by acquiring Lincolnshire-based Hill & Clark, which has physical offices in Boston, Spalding, Holbeach and Bourne along with a virtual branch in Skegness.

Last week LRG announced it had bought 13-branch independent Gibbs Gillespie for an undisclosed sum; this was Leaders’ largest acquisitionto date and includes branches across Middlesex, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
