A local estate agency network says it has hosted an extraordinary 96,524 virtual viewings during lockdown.

The Miles & Barr agency – with 15 branches and a head office, all in Kent – deals in sales as well as lettings, plus property management, financial services and commercial lettings and sales.

The 96,000-plus viewings were across 974 properties in the first quarter of this year alone using 3D walkthrough technology and a live streaming service.

It says: “East Kent’s rental market was in high demand with each property viewed, via the live streaming platform Gavl, received an average 10 viewers per home broadcast.

“The ease of live streaming meant renters were able to secure their next property with eight out of 10 properties shown online securing a new tenant.”
