Compliance PropTech firm inks deal with Hunters network

Todays other news

Lettings franchise giant Hunters has struck a commercial deal with a geospatial technology firm.

The partnership offers immediate access to Kamma’s full suite of services including its compliance products.

Hunters managed properties will now be covered by automated compliance and guaranteed protection.

Compliance fines recently hit the £6m mark in London, according to Kamma’s data platform, that is also predicting a 39 per cent increase in the number of discretionary schemes in the UK this year.

With schemes or consultations in Westminster, Southend and Oxford already announced, the need for real-time insight that reduces the operational cost of compliance, has never been higher.

Glynis Frew, managing director of Hunters, comments: “Our partnership will significantly streamline our compliance process, increasing efficiency and providing total peace of mind for our franchisees. Ultimately it will allow our agents to focus on what they do best – selling and letting homes and delivering exceptional customer service.

“This is another example of the industry-leading technology, innovation and training that franchisees can have access to by joining the Hunters network.”

Our recent merger with The Property Franchise Group has created the UK’s largest franchise network, providing a wealth of potential new opportunities for those who might be considering the next step for their own business.”

And Kamma chief executive Orla Shields explains: “With landlord surveys reporting an increased interest in self-management, it’s vital that agents underline the value they bring to their customers.

“Property licensing schemes are on the rise, adding an additional layer of complexity to an already competitive market.  Our compliance management and property information provides a clear point of difference to Hunters and their customers.

“We offer agents a level of expertise that cannot be found elsewhere, whilst removing the risk of large fines. By reducing the operational cost of compliance, we deliver the twin benefits of raising levels of compliance within the industry, whilst keeping agents 100% focussed on what they do best, letting property and growing their agencies”.
