The Canterbury branch of national sales and lettings agency Martin & Co has a new owner.

Angie Collins has taken on the branch after completing a re-sale process with previous owner Kevin Hall.

As part of the deal Collins has retained Martin & Co Canterbury’s premises, as well as its existing staff and managed portfolio of over 240 properties.

Collins, who is a chartered accountant and previously owned a catering company in Canterbury, says: “I have always had a keen interest in property and also missed the cut and thrust of running my own business, so when the opportunity came up to buy Martin & Co Canterbury, I had to go for it. Martin & Co is well established, and franchisees are well supported and have built great businesses under the brand.

“Everyone deserves a place to call home and I want to ensure they have the best possible experience when letting or buying a home through our branch.”

Collins’ most recent role was with a number of Kent companies as a strategic development and financial management business consultant.

Kevin Hall, meanwhile, will now focus his efforts on his other branch of Martin & Co, in nearby Ashford.
