Sulets – a not-for-profit, charitable trust providing accommodation for students – has struck gold.

It’s won a Gold award from Investors in People – an accreditation that only 17 per cent of companies achieve with Investors in People.

The agency – which operates in Leicester – says this award is particularly important given its not-for-profit status.

A statement from the agency says the accolade “means we set high standards and pride ourselves on delivering a trusted and honest service. This can only happen if our people are experts in their field, have the skills necessary to look after customers and understand fully what the Sulets brand stands for.”

And chief executive Irving Hill adds: “We are extremely happy to be recognised by Investors in People and achieve their Gold standard. The feedback from the assessor was very positive and it was great to hear positive feedback from our team as part of the assessment.”

The charity says it can keep letting costs for students affordable due to levying no hidden charges, and all surplus being reinvested back into the charity. 

Sulets’ mission is to raise standards in accommodation for the students of Leicester and “to be honest, transparent, and fair in our actions and to enhance the student experience.”
