Flexible working for letting agents here to stay says DPS chief

Flexible working for letting agents, so much a part of activities for the past 18 months, is here to stay according to a prominent industry supplier.

Matt Trevett, managing director at the Deposit Protection Service, says it’s genuinely hard to ensure collaboration between people operating remotely, but he himself has seen great work from his staff and colleagues – he feels the whole industry will have a mix of working locations as life returns to some form of stability.

The challenge for agents to deal with disputes appropriately is made even tougher during periods of home working, he says.

In an exclusive video interview for Letting Agent Today, Trevett outlines ways that agents can help themselves and their landlords and tenants by the most effective processes.

He speaks with Chris Buckler, himself an agent, in this crisp five minute interview.
