The owner of Martin & Co’s Blackpool branch has made it a year to remember after securing another independent acquisition.

Hamza Anwar has added another 72 properties to his portfolio after acquiring RJE Lettings in the North West town.

The acquisition, Anwar’s third in Blackpool, comes shortly after the launch of Martin & Co’s St Annes office – his third branch alongside Blackpool and Lancaster. His managed portfolio now stands at more than 600 properties.

“As a landlord myself, I know how important service is from a managing agent and that’s what we’re really focused on providing across our three branches. We look after properties as if they were our own, so I’m confident RJE’s landlords will be hugely impressed with the level of service on offer from the team in Blackpool.

“It’s been a fantastic year for the business, with the St Annes branch having launched and this third acquisition in Blackpool now complete. But we won’t stop there – I’m always looking at ways to grow and I’m sure we’ll be expanding further in the not-to-distant future.”

Anwar took on the Blackpool branch when he was just 23, before purchasing Lancaster’s office in 2018 and launching the St Annes operation earlier this year.
