Police confront man who stole To Let sign from property

Local media in Bournemouth report that a man was stopped by the police when he was seen after dark carrying a To Let sign.

He was spotted by police during a routine patrol; the sign was taken from the man and returned to the property from which it was taken.

A police spokesperson is quoted in the Bournemouth Echo as saying: “Whilst on proactive patrols, officers came across a male acting in an anti-social manner on Wimborne Road.

“Officers educated the male about the way he was acting and gave him strong words of advice. The sign was returned back to the correct property.”

It's a shame these police couldn't have gone and had a word with the terminally ill man wrestled to the ground by 5 overly exuberant officers for mooning a speed camera.

    Well said, Roger.
