Rightmove’s David Cox - formerly of the Association of Residential Letting Agents - is to talk through the Budget fallout for the rental sector at a webinar this morning.
The event is at 0930 and m aimed at helping agents understand the latest regulatory and fiscal changes affecting the lettings market in particular.
Cox - now legal and compliance director at the portal - says he will discuss pets following the government’s issuing of the new standard tenancy agreement.
He’ll also touch upon Section 44, and its impact on short lets. There will be debate on the stamp duty holiday extension and other initiatives announced by Chancellor Rishi Sunak in last week’s Budget, plus a look at possible changes later this month in consultation documents about long-term tax policy reform.
