Agents using Reapit now have access to tenant due diligence and guarantee firm Homeppl, which will assist in combating rental fraud.
Homeppl is a tenant referencing system which leverages Open Banking, fraud detection tests, and behavioural analysis to confirm consumers’ real creditworthiness and transactional ability.
Integrated to load and run within Agency Cloud and using Reapit’s UI Library and branding, the installation of Homeppl’s platform into Reapit will mean that agents will be able to access fraud detection tools directly from the Reapit CRM.
Ben Harris, head of commercials at Homeppl, says: “This will reduce time spent re-keying information, remove re-keying errors, and enable agents to receive results and risk reports directly into their CRM.”
And Matthew Goddard, partnerships director at Reapit, adds: “The integration will enable our customers to increase approval rates and reduce rental fraud from within their AgencyCloud CRM software.”
Harris concludes: “By combining cutting-edge technology and human intelligence, we enable letting agencies and landlords to safely transact with a wider range of consumers, including internationals, self-employed, students, and others without a credit file.
“This not only unlocks equal opportunities, but also protects agents by identifying the growing number of fraudulent applications.”
