Belvoir has announced its franchise of the year, selected from the 166 offices in its network.

It’s husband and wife team Ben and Daisy Davies from Belvoir Swansea, Mumbles and Sketty, described by Belvoir chief executive Dorian Gonsalves as “incredibly popular with everyone in the network and unsurprisingly received a standing ovation from everyone in attendance when their names were called out as winners of this prestigious award.”

Gonsalves says the couple’s business is on course to achieve £1m turnover this year, adding: “They took on the Belvoir Swansea office as a cold start business and have built their business up over the years, adding two more Belvoir offices in Mumbles and Sketty and literally gone from zero to heroes, becoming incredible ambassadors for the Belvoir brand.”

Ben Davies himself adds: “We won the Silver Award in 2020 and 2021, so to win Gold this year is just brilliant. Daisy and I would like to thank our amazing team, who do so much every day to help us achieve success. They are as thrilled as we are to win this title, and we are really looking forward to celebrating with them.”

The agency conference, held at Coombe Abbey Hotel in Coventry, was entitled Reset for Growth 2022, and designed to inspire franchisees through entrepreneurial speakers, talking with suppliers, and networking with other business owners.

A total of 31 awards were including the Lifetime Achievement to Mick and Linda Green from Belvoir Burnley. After 19 years with Belvoir they have achieved a record number of 100 per cent audit compliance results prior to their retirement.

Skylar Atkinson of Belvoir Aberdeen was awarded the Belvoir Rising Star Award in recognition of her ambitious plans and business growth, whilst new franchisee Paul Tyson of Belvoir Tamworth won the Belvoir Newcomer of the Year Award.

Dorian Gonsalves adds: “There were many other wonderful results on the night, with all aspects of the Belvoir business model recognised, from financial services to sales and lettings, as well as offices who have organised great charity events and provided outstanding customer service.”
