The chief executive and founder of an award-winning sales and lettings brand is set to discuss the best practice approaches to running and retaining a great team in a challenging market in a free Goodlord webinar this week.

Castledene – which has 12 branches in the North of England – invests heavily in its people and was the first agency brand in England to achieve a “Gold” Investors in People accreditation.

During the webinar CEO John Paul will share insights from his own experience on how to hire and retain the best talent, and outline how employers can help them stay motivated and engaged.

He says: “Our people have always been central to our ethos at Castledene – our motto ‘Be better’ is as much about our team as it is our clients, and we back this up by investing a significant amount of time and money in the development of our employees.

“The reason for this is simple: the best teams get the best results.

“I’m looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned about building award-winning teams with letting agents in this webinar and providing actionable advice that they can take away and implement in their own agencies.”

And Costas Frangeskou, director of sales at Goodlord, comments: “There’s no doubt that the current market is a challenging one for letting agents, who are dealing with low stock, keeping up with legislation changes, and the ongoing impact of the pandemic.

“But it’s important that agencies don’t lose sight of their people who will be fundamental to their continued success and ensure that they are equipped to meet these challenges head on.”

Agents can register for the free webinar, which takes place at 10am on Thursday April 21 via the Goodlord website
