A lettings agency is celebrating winning the obstruction to let and manage a 63 unit Build To Rent scheme for students in Bath.
Carter Jonas’s BTR division will manage the Old Bakery Yard development on behalf of MCP Bath Ltd, a group which concentrates on mixed-use, leisure, residential and retail developments, usually on brownfield sites in the West Country and Wales, with a particular focus on Bristol and Bath.
Construction began on the new Bath scheme in October last year. On completion, it will incorporate two new buildings, one housing student accommodation and the other offering 5,000 square feet of flexible open-plan employment space.
Led by Lee Richards, Carter Jonas’ BTR offer specialises in providing consultancy and lettings and management services on large portfolios owned by estates, trusts, investment funds, charities, pension funds and developers.
This new instruction is part of the firm’s long-term involvement with Old Bakery Yard, having advised on the scheme’s design, operational management, and feasibility.
Lettings and management services will be supported by Carter Jonas’ Bath team, including head of lettings, Sharon Hunter.
