Another independent bites the dust as agency makes latest acquisition

Todays other news

The fast-growing Henry Adams Lettings has acquired Interlet Sussex, a long-established independent agency.

Interlet Sussex, based in Bognor Regis, was founded in 2008 by Ray and Sandra Ellis; their staff will join the Henry Adams Lettings team who will be relocating to the Interlet premises.

The newly expanded team will be headed by Lee Hopkins, director, and Jodie Gregory as manager.

Henry Adams chief executive Ian Wiggett says: “Interlet is a well-respected lettings agency … so we are delighted to bring them on board with Henry Adams. Ray and Sandra have built an exceptional business where the values align with our own at Henry Adams.”

Sandra Ellis adds: “A couple of years ago we became aware that another long-established, local family business (AC Lettings) had joined Henry Adams. Even as competitors we can see what a success this has been and how their clients and staff have been well looked after. We therefore decided to approach Henry Adams.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our landlord clients for their business and continued support over the years, as well as our band of tradespeople who will continue to work with Henry Adams. It is greatly appreciated and we have every confidence that the combined teams, with an unrivalled depth of experience, will continue to go from strength to strength without compromising on the quality of service.”

Interlet marks the third acquisition by Henry Adams in the past two years as the company expands its lettings portfolio and market reach along the south coast.

Henry Adams’ services include planning, buy to let, land and development, new homes, residential sales, agricultural, commercial and fine art auctions.
