Rightmove hosts its latest anti-money laundering webinar next week.

The hour-long session at 10am on Tuesday July 19 – a week today – is titled Customer Due Diligence (CDD): How to Meet HMRC Expectations and will be led by Malcolm Driscoll of FCS Compliance.

The session will cover Effective Customer Due Diligence, Unpicking the multiple layers of CDD; Corporate structures and how to identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners; New sanctions and how they impact the CDD processes and client relationships; and Embedding a compliance culture within an agency office.

Driscoll has spent over 40 years in the police where he investigated serious and complex fraud and money laundering, and says: “The war in Ukraine and subsequent newly imposed-Russian sanctions, has added further responsibilities to the existing CDD processes.  The aim of this webinar is to provide a no-nonsense guide for attendees; to get to the heart of what is required to keep their businesses as safe and secure as possible from being used for money laundering purposes.

“All this while ensuring they meet HMRC Money Laundering Regulations and are fully compliant at every step of the way.”

Free to Rightmove members, registration for the webinar is through the Rightmove Hub.
