Fine & Country will be hosting masterclasses in October focussing on recruitment and retention.

Held in London and Leeds the sessions will provide agents the opportunity to hear from leading property professionals about how they can maximise their recruitment efforts and grow their business, while creating a working environment that top agents do not want to leave.

Nicky Stevenson, managing director of Fine & Country UK, says: “The Masterclass Series is for agents looking to maximise their opportunity to grow their market share in their area by taking onboard the right people to make that happen. Whether you are looking to grow your business by recruiting employees, or associates, or understand your team better ensuring retention, this session is for you. We have so many talented people within the network who have excelled at various aspects of the business, the series is about sharing their knowledge and ideas to further enhance an agent’s chances of success within the upper quartile of the property market.”

The first will be on Friday October 7 in London and the second on Thursday October 13 in Leeds. Speakers include Paul Quintanilla, who has recruited over 100 associates to the Fine & Country network over the past three and a half years. Paul will share his day-to-day activities to attract associates, which can be implemented by business owners.

Other speakers include Nicola Broomham, a former agent and now director of recruitment at deverellsmith, who will discuss the changing attitudes of employees, what negotiators and managers want from their employer, and how this has shifted in a post-Covid world, so that business owners can best attract them.

Also presenting is Jennifer Scott-Reid, chief people and development officer at nurtur.group, who will share how to understand the different personalities of your team members, and how to retain them.

Stevenson continues: “We are excited about being able to host the events and share best practises with agents that will help them to gain further traction within their markets. This series is a learning platform for the network and an opportunity for our network to come together and gain insight from established professionals who have made a significant impact with their sector of the market.”
