A lettings and sales agency called Propertynest is offering franchise opportunities for those wanting to set up their own business.

Headquartered in Leeds with two branches set up in Godalming and Elmbridge in Surrey, the franchise offers training, access to support plus bespoke tech systems.

Managing director Vincent Anthony explains: “Since starting the business in 2007, we have built our model around giving our clients the best possible experience, with customer service and quality at the heart of everything we do.  Through hard work and dedication, this has helped us to build a strong client base over time.  Our brilliant team of people are each passionate about the service they deliver.

“The proven marketing, lead generation and operating system we have developed, which includes both bespoke and market leading software applications are fully integrated, providing an ultra-efficient back office and marketing platform.  This means our agents can grow their businesses more easily, be fully supported, and can spend more quality time with their clients on an individual basis, with continued focus on building long term relationships and local presence.”

Propertynest describes itself as “an ambitious and forward-thinking leading lettings and estate agency” and franchise opportunities are available for experienced agents las well as those without industry experience.

“However, they should be ambitious and hard working with a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, face-to-face sales experience and always be looking to put clients’ needs first” says the agency.

Anthony continues: “Two existing franchisees are already trading successfully using our tech and platform and working under the umbrella of our award-winning brand.  There is now the chance for the right candidates to join our team to create their own sales and/or letting agency as we expand across England.”

On the sales side the franchise fee is £1,250 plus VAT which includes the first month’s monthly license fee; then an Operating fee of £1,250 plus VAT per calendar month. There’s also an advertising fee of 1.5 per cent plus VAT of gross revenue. A royalty fee also exists – this is 10 per cent plus vat of Gross Revenue subject to a minimum fee of £250 plus VAT on individual property sale transactions.

On the lettings side, 10 per cent plus VAT of Gross Revenue, subject to that on each new tenancy set up the minimum fee is £250 plus VAT.
