Todays other news

Hybrid franchise operator The Agency UK is to host its first industry exhibition in two weeks’ time.

Entitled ‘Grow your Agency in 23’ it’s at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Warwickshire on December and costs £14.99 for entrants.

TAUK says the event is aimed to help agents take their business “to the next level” through a day of learning and coaching with guest speakers including a keynote speech from author Tony Morris who claims o have seven strategies to triple agents’ valuations, without spending an extra penny on marketing.

The chief executive of Agents Together, Sarah Edmundson, will also be speaking about how to focus on a healthy mind, business mentality; and create a discussion on options for free mentoring and resources for all agents.

TAUK chief executive Andy Vass will talk about the 2023 market and throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to network with suppliers and others professionals.

The chief operating officer of TAUK – Steph Walker – says: “TAUK believes that education, coaching and networking to share ideas is the best way to continuously improve and raise standards in the industry. As a company we want to give back to the agent community in which we work and give smaller or independent agents the opportunity to access this type of training, which is why we’re running this exhibition for a small charge.

“Meeting suppliers and learning how people can grow their offering or market differently is so important, as next year will all be about differentiating yourself. We welcome all property professionals – anyone who is perhaps new to the industry, a branch valuer, self-employed, a business owner – to come along and enjoy a day of learning.”
