Martin & Co’s Ashford branch is celebrating the countdown to Christmas with another independent agency acquisition.

The franchised office, owned by Kevin Hall since 2010, has completed a deal for Taylors Lettings, consolidating its position as Ashford’s largest letting agent.

The acquisition is Hall’s second, after he completed the purchase of FoxWood Maclean’s portfolio in 2019.

Hall says: “We’re always on the lookout for opportunities to grow our portfolio and Taylors Lettings is certainly a business that shares our ethos for great customer service, having been operating in Ashford for more than 20 years.

“I’m absolutely delighted to complete the deal and I’m really pleased to welcome Taylors Lettings’ landlords into the Martin & Co fold, where they’ll benefit from both the experience of the team and the processes and technology we have in place to help them.”

Martin & Co managing director Eric Walker adds: “Kevin has achieved some wonderful things since joining Martin & Co more than a decade ago and his hard work and passion for his business are infectious.

“I’m delighted he’s been able to add a second acquisition to that list of achievements and I’d remind any independent agents thinking of selling that we have a lot of franchisees with funding in place who are keen to discuss opportunities, so get in touch.”
