A London borough is tomorrow holding an online training session for agents and landlords on how to submit a licence application online.

Ealing council in west London already operates a borough wide additional licensing scheme plus a selective licensing scheme in three wards; now a new selective licensing scheme is to apply to 12 further wards from January 3.

The new scheme covers over 50 per cent of the overall size of the borough and nearly half of all privately rented homes in Ealing.

Following a public consultation last year, government consent was requested and granted for the expansion earlier this year.

The council will be giving training to landlords and agents on how to submit a licence application online.

The training session will be held tomorrow between 6.30pm and 8.30pm and will be delivered online using Microsoft Teams.
