The UK Apartment Association - set up six years ago as a form of trade body for Build To Rent operators in the UK - has now joined the UK Short Term Accommodation Association, which represents the Airbnb-style short lets sector.
A statement says: “The combination of the two industry bodies’ memberships will dramatically increase the current size of the TrustedStays inventory and open up more options for corporates and government to book accommodation that has the Quality in Tourism accreditation.”
Trusted Stays was a kitemark scheme originally set up to guarantee quality housing for key workers having to relocate temporarily during the pandemic.
