Lettings agency ‘disappears’ leaving landlords and suppliers in the lurch

A lettings firm specialising in holiday properties is reported to have disappeared with all items taken from its office and calls and emails being left unreturned.

Blue Sky Holiday Homes was based in the Cornish property hotspot of St Ives but the Cornwall Live news website reports that its owned - Paul James - “went quiet after asking for sums of money from his clients up front for repairs, deposits and other services.”

Since that time dozens of landlords and suppliers have reported being unable to extract monies owed to them. The scandal has reached local BBC TV News as well as newspapers and online news services.
