PropTech allows agency to claim it offers “unique service” to landlords

A prominent letting agency on the south coast of England, Mishon Mackay, says PropTech is allowing it to offer a unique service to landlords.

Mishon Mackay has employed Giraffe 360 to provide a combination of property photography, virtual tours, and 2D and 3D floor plans that offer 98 per cent accuracy.

Since introducing the technology the agency claims more landlords have chosen to use the premium marketing package, resulting in higher click through rates, higher rents, and properties letting much faster.

James McCartney, senior lettings negotiator at the firm, says: “Showcasing high-quality images and respectable marketing is important to landlords to ensure properties stand out online and attract as much traffic as possible to achieve the best price and most suitable tenants.

“Giraffe360 gives potential tenants a better user experience by being able to see high quality resolution photographs, a floor plan, and a 360-walkthrough tour to see the layout of a property before booking a viewing.

“Some people who cannot view a property physically are also taking advantage of the online viewing facility. This allows them to do a viewing from anywhere in the world, with the assurance they are viewing an accurate representation of the property in question.”

The agency also cites a landlord saying:  “I instructed Mishon Mackay on the fully managed lettings service to let my flat and for them to use their premium Giraffe360 marketing. The pictures and 3D tour looked great and have helped us secure an excellent rental level and good tenant.

“I received regular feedback and updates throughout the process, as well as good quality advice and a great service. It’s the second time I’ve used Mishon Mackay to let my flat and, based upon my experience both times, I expect to continue using them for many years to come.”
