Agents say Business Rate changes for branches are ‘not enough’

An agency brand says it’s “astounded” at how many of its member branches want to take part in an international investment marketing event.

Fine & Country is hosting an event on March 8 at its central London head office.

The company claims the day will “be educational, helping potential investors understand the laws, legislation, conversions, benefits, and limitations of investing in the different regions, while also offering an opportunity to network and potentially source new buyers.”

Nicky Stevenson, managing director at Fine & Country, explains the event falls in an important week for the brand.

“Our international conference for 2023 is being held in London March 10 with delegates from around the world arriving in the UK to attend what is set to be an informative and enjoyable affair.

“Having so many members from the global network in the city offered a great initiative to maximise the opportunity of getting together for the investor event. The variety of perspectives and the wide range of properties on display will be quite the feat to witness.”

A statement from the brand cites the marketing director of its Exeter branch – Hannah Dorman – as saying: “I have been astounded by the responses I have received from across the network from agents wishing to showcase their investor opportunities at the event.”
