Three months after becoming an independent estate agency, North Residential has opened a second branch.

The new office – in Pocklington, East Yorkshire – is part of a rapid growth strategy by Harrogate-based North Residential, which rebranded recently following its split from Knight Frank after 15 years.

In September North Residential’s Harlan Pollitt and Daniel Rigg revealed the breakaway from the high-end chain, with Pollitt now saying: “The opening of a new branch in Pocklington fits into our locational criteria as a highly desirable area to live at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds with full coverage of the York area.

“We operate as an independent company with no external funding or debt and, with the best and most motivated team in the business, we are extremely well placed to expand the North Residential brand into more prime locations.

“We anticipate around 60 per cent year-on-year growth with at least three new office openings per annum and are excited to announce further new locations very soon.”

Scott Holley has been appointed to lead the team at the new Pocklington branch. He has over 20 years’ residential experience – previously at Galbraith and Savills.

He says: “While I have garnered my skillset across several UK locations, my heart belongs in Pocklington where I grew up. I am so excited to embed North Residential as a part of the local community, helping residents every step of the way in their next important home move.
