It’s being billed as the Build To Rent sector’s biggest ever exp and now the trade body behind it has given details.

The UK Apartment Association says the expo is called For Better BTR Business and it takes place on April 20 at the Business Design Centre in London’s Islington. It’s an all day event with 800 delegates expected.

More than 500 companies will be represented at the show with attendees encouraged to share information, learn, network, and collaborate for better BTR business.

The show will open with a ‘reverse trade show’ which provides the opportunity for exhibitors to connect on a one-to-one basis with major purchasers, using a ‘speed dating’ meeting format. This runs from 8.15am to 10.00 am.

The main Expo will run from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm with a series of expert sessions including the Call for Leadership, Whole Life Costing and Operator Procurement Processes. There will also be an interactive workshop that will focus on the importance of high levels of professional maintenance within BTR.

The event will conclude with a networking drinks reception.

“Bigger than ever before, we are proud to present a broad range of BTR specific suppliers along with a high-quality content agenda that will provide attendees with the knowledge and opportunities to deliver better BTR business” says Brendan Geraghty, chief executive of the UKAA.
