Barbon Insurance Group, which describes itself as the UK’s largest tenant referencing and specialist lettings insurance intermediary, has a new managing director.  

Wayne Tonge has over 25 years of experience in customer service and the property insurance sector, having worked for the likes of AXA, Pearl Assurance, Arthur J Gallagher and Ardonagh Group, latterly founding Property Initiatives Underwriting Agency. 

Barbon Insurance Group, which includes brands HomeLet and Let Alliance, became part of PIB Group in 2021. 

Tonge says: “We’re at the start of a huge journey, with a clear vision and a robust five-year plan … I am eager to work alongside the talented team already in place and help Barbon achieve its ambitious goals.
