Two former agents with experience between them of major players such as Countrywide, Leaders Romans and LSL have set up a compliance service aimed at the lettings sector.

Elite Consultancy Group is the brainchild of Ben Stokes and Michael Skeath who have over 30 years combined experience within the industry including time spent with Countrywide, LRG and LSL. 

Elite is described as an “outsourced compliance management solution” and claims to be designed with independent lettings agencies in mind as the key target clients.

A statement from the pair says: “Independent lettings agencies often struggle with keeping up with compliance regulations, which can be a complex and time-consuming process. Elite understands the challenges that these agencies face and has created a solution to help them navigate through compliance regulations without breaking the bank.”

The service starts at £499 a month and Stokes says: “Compliance for letting agents is a complex and time-consuming process, especially for independent agencies who are less able to spread the costs of a compliance team across their business … Our outsourced compliance management service offers day-to-day, ongoing compliance management as well as anticipating upcoming legislation changes, giving Independent lettings agencies the intelligence and experience of experts to guide them through the complex compliance landscape.”
