High profile Propertymark lettings expert Angharad Trueman is joining Andrews agency as group lettings director.

Trueman has been in the property industry for 13 years working for both independent and corporate agents in a variety of locations, most recently as managing director of CGT Lettings in Gloucestershire.

Trueman is also Vice President of ARLA Propertymark and will next month move up to be President Elect, before becoming President of the industry body in June 2024.

She says: “I am delighted to be joining Andrews to lead their lettings division across the group. They are a brand I have admired for some time, and it’s clear that Andrews’ values align very closely with my own.

“It’s time for my next challenge after a wonderful five years growing CGT from being a purely lettings agency to a true property group, now covering lettings, sales, commercial and Serviced Apartment management.

“I cannot wait to get stuck in and focus on leading Andrews’ talented lettings team as they deliver a first-class service for landlords and tenants. I also really look forward to growing our presence across London, the South East and the South West, and building on our great brand reputation.”

David Powell, group commercial director for Andrews, adds: “Lettings is a key part of the Andrews offering and a strategic focus for our future growth. We are delighted to have secured someone with Angharad’s recognised capabilities for this pivotal position at such an exciting time in Andrews’ history.

“As a business wholly owned by a charitable trust, we are setting out to build on our unique ownership structure to become the most trusted and admired business in property. We very much look forward to seeing Angharad play a leading role in achieving this ambition.”
