The fast growing agency Lomond – which has snapped up a string of independents in the past two years – is now making an ambitious bid to attract new staff.

It’s launching LOMONDlife, described as a benefits and wellbeing platform, for its existing 1,100 staff and as a showcase to attract new recruits.

Features of LOMONDlife include new employee benefits including holiday buy-back and salary sacrifice schemes, and discounts from more than 900 retailers – ranging from Marks & Spencer to Tui holidays – available to Lomond staff through the platform and its new bespoke app.

LOMONDlife has also brought together a selection of perks such as a healthcare cash back plan, an enhanced family friendly leave package and an electric/hybrid car scheme.

Another area is the online wellbeing centre, offering its team ideas and tips to support better mental, physical, financial, and nutritional health.

The firm claims to be the fastest-growing network of lettings and estate agents in the UK and is in the middle of a series of ‘People Roadshows’.

These have brought together teams from Lomond’s 12 regional brands, spanning England and Scotland, which were held as Lomond CEO Ed Phillips marked his first anniversary in the role.

He used the opportunity to reiterate how Lomond has completed over 40 acquisitions and has grown its letting portfolio to 40,000 homes.

Phillips says: “As a people-powered business, we are determined to recruit, reward and retain the best talent in the industry.

“Our people are our greatest asset, and our success story has been built around them – their collective knowledge and wisdom give us the edge. The launch of LOMONDlife is another example of how we are expanding our support to them – both in and out of the office.

“It adds an extra dimension to our commitment to being a great place to work and the employer of choice for people in our sector. We are eager to build on the concept in the coming months as we cement our position as a market leader in lettings, sales, and investment management and lead the way for change.”

In line with many agencies, the company is also giving corporate donations to charity – in this case Centrepoint which supports homeless young people with accommodation, health support, and life skills to get them back into education, training, and employment.
