A family business has been named Residential Letting Team of the Year for the second time.

The small At Home In Edinburgh team of just four beat off competition from across Scotland to win the Scottish Home Awards accolade.

The independent award programme celebrates excellence in Scotland’s housing and housebuilding industry and is now in its 16th year.

Residential Letting Team of the Year finalists were Albany Letting, Cairn Estate and Letting Agency, Clan Gordon, Stonehouse Lettings, and Watt Property.

The Residential Letting Team of the Year award category acknowledges the importance of the Scottish private rental property sector.

In announcing the award winner, judges praised At Home In Edinburgh’s clear and concise strategy which underpinned great results, and the excellent relationships they form and maintain with both tenants and landlords.

The team of four operate from their Marchmont office, led by husband-and-wife team Rick and Vicky McCann.

Rick McCann says: “We are incredibly proud to be named Residential Letting Team of the Year at the Scottish Home Awards – for the second year in a row.

“It’s a huge achievement for our small team, and we’re delighted to receive such recognition in this competitive industry.

“The rental property market has experienced considerable challenges over the last few years, driving us to find ways to innovate to support our clients and to keep tenants in their homes. At the same time, we were able to recognise and seize market opportunities, ensuring our continued growth.”

This Scottish Home Awards honour follows At Home In Edinburgh’s recognition by allAgents, which awarded the family business the gold award for Best Letting Agent in the City of Edinburgh 2022.
