A new northern version of a popular property awards ceremony makes its debut this autumn.

The North West PROPS, a northern-focused version of the oldest and most popular London PROPS Awards, will take place for the first time this November whilst raising funds to support disadvantaged and disabled children across the NW region.

Taking place at the Hilton Hotel Deansgate, Manchester, on November 30, the ceremony will offer a chance for the North West’s property professionals to celebrate the sector’s outstanding achievements and successes.

Nominations can now be made via the Variety website with categories such as the Rising Star Award, Funder Award, and Agent Award up for grabs.

The Variety North West PROPS will also include unique awards such as the Property for Purpose Award, which aims to showcase a project which is charity based in nature and is beneficial to its stakeholders.

Lyn Staunton, development director for Variety, says: “We are delighted to announce that nominations for the North West PROPS Awards are now open. The Northwest has some of the very finest Property companies and individuals, and we will celebrate those whilst raising much needed funds for disabled and disadvantaged children in the Region.

“Entrants can nominate their colleagues, their peers, their clients or even themselves. We would just encourage as many people as possible to get involved and help us showcase the amazing achievements of this region’s property professionals.”

Nominations can be made now, with a shortlist being announced at the beginning of October.

The event aims to celebrate the property industry and help fund more wheelchairs, Sunshine Coaches, days out and specialist equipment in the NW.
