Rightmove is to provide agents with local market data and easier access to training at a series of Propertymark regional events.

Rightmove data will be presented at nine key Propertymark regional conferences and the Scottish national conference. The portal will also have a stand at select events to speak with agents about training and standards within the industry, and the benefits of getting qualified with its Level 3 Certificate for Estate and Letting Agents.

Agents with at least a year’s experience can use their CELA qualification to apply for the Member grade of Propertymark’s National Association of Estate Agents and Association of Residential Letting Agents once they have passed their final exam.

Rightmove data will be presented at the following conferences this year; Liverpool, Newcastle, Eastwood and Southampton in September; Guildford and Glasgow in October; and Canterbury, Harrogate, Brighton and Cambridge in November.

Nathan Emerson, Propertymark chief executive, comments: “The sector has seen some major changes recently and the landscape is ever-changing, so it’s important that as the UK’s leading regulatory body for the sector, we provide the tools and information needed to help agents keep up to date and advanced to be the best they can be.

“We look forward to working with Rightmove in our new partnership and hope agents take advantage of the new offerings this brings including hearing the latest insights at our upcoming events.”

And Rightmove’s head of education, Jason Charles, adds: “In a fast-changing market, agents need the best insights relevant to their local market to continue to be successful and identify new opportunities in their area. We’re looking forward to speaking with agents from across Great Britain and encouraging more to stand out from the crowd by enrolling on the Rightmove CELA qualification.”
