The century-old Wards Estate Agents – part of Arun – has snapped up Kite Homes, a lettings and property management company based in Whitstable.

This is the second acquisition in short order for the Kent-based company, which recently celebrated its centenary.

A statement says: “Kite and Wards share similar morals regarding their customers and the journeys that customers wish to take, with a passion for a high level of continued customer service. Kite and Wards have been working closely together to ensure a smooth transition for customers.”

Wards managing director of operations, Jason Bunning, says: “From the beginning of Kite Homes many years ago, they have always been about top tier customer service and have built up a great reputation within the Whitstable area, so with a very similar outlook, this really is a match made in heaven.

“Kite’s customers will also benefit from the additional services Wards are able to offer, particularly the Landlord and Tenant Portal, which really does help organise and streamline everything for our customers.”
