Downturn? What downturn? Propertymark books entire hotel for a party!

Todays other news

Propertymark is revamping the big London conference it trialled this year – and it’s fired an entire hotel for the after-party event.

The conference itself – once again called Propertymark One – will be held again in London, at the ExCel facility in Docklands.

But in a statement launching the event – to be held on June 14 – the show is stolen by the announcement about the party.

“In addition to the conference proceedings on the day, Propertymark has taken the after-party to a new level by booking out the entire Sunborn London Yacht Hotel for an exclusive post-conference party” says the trade body.

The body’s commercial manager, Jason Lee, comments: “Propertymark has fused a stunning mix of new ideas to help set a brand-new benchmark for our flagship event.

“The goal has been to create an event that brings together inspirational speakers, key industry suppliers and like-minded professionals all together under one single roof.

“Delegates will see an extraordinary evolution in format, including an impressive lineup of guest speakers and I can’t wait to share further details over the coming months.”

He says the event will “embrace the ambition of providing #morefor24 by including a ground breaking schedule of cross-sector specialist breakout sessions, all delivering unique opportunities for attendees to tailor a personalised programme for their day.”

The launch statement says the trade body will “rewrite the rules and push a brand-new threshold” with the conference, which it pledges will be “by far the biggest event in the industry calendar and will bring together over 1,500 property professionals under one roof.”

It’s run in association with Rightmove and early bird tickets start at £155 for members and £170 for others.
