The company which acquired London-focussed agency Chestertons in October has now snapped up another lettings and sales operation.

This latest purchase is Whitton & Laing Lettings and Sales, an Exeter-based south west company, which is now owned by FirstPort – this sits within the Campions Group. This group includes regional brands Beresford:Ward, Chase Buchanan, Fidelis, Lets Move and Retirement Homesearch.

Whitton & Laing is some 135 years old and one of the longest-established firms of property agents and chartered surveyors in Devon, and operates auctions and block management as well as sales and lettings.

It has offices in Exeter and Exmouth. Two of its longest-serving lettings and sales chiefs are retiring.
