An event which claims to change the fortunes of letting agents has been recognised by the Professional Speakers Academy.

Agent Rainmaker Live was named ‘Best Event in the UK’ at the recent PSA awards.

It features experts taking to the stage to share their knowledge, impart industry tips and discuss the best ways to overcome challenges within the lettings sector.

Top industry talent to join the expert panel included David Cox (Rightmove Compliance Director), Nathan Emerson (Propertymark CEO), Neil Cobbold (Payprop CEO), Paul Shamplina (Landlord Action CEO), and Ben Beadle (CEO of NLA).

Each year, a handful of letting agents who have implemented Agent Rainmaker’s advice are invited to share their personal story with the crowd.

Rainmaker’s recent award ceremony saw agents recognised for successfully growing their businesses in 2023, with over £12m in combined revenue added to their agencies.

Sally Lawson, founder of Agent Rainmaker and former ARLA president, says: “We’ve never wanted Live to be dull or repetitive so we ensure we’re talking about the most current industry challenges and solutions, and we like to have a lot of fun too. That’s why we have agents who return each year, because they love it so much and they know they’ll learn plenty.

“The most rewarding return guests are those who’ve previously sat in the audience who go on to become a speaker, because their stories of success after taking on board what they’ve been told really resonate with everyone in the crowd.”
