Inspirational broadcast star to address Propertymark One

Inspirational broadcaster and author Katie Piper is set to take to the stage at the Propertymark One Conference at the ExCel London on June 14.

The day, run in partnership with Rightmove, is the largest industry event in the UK and brings together all property-related disciplines under one roof.

Piper’s story is one of true inspiration and resilience and she is widely known for her ambition to raise awareness for people who have suffered from burns to the skin. She established The Katie Piper Foundation in 2009, a charity with the goal of creating a world where a person’s function or sense of worth is never hindered by scars.

Alongside her charitable ventures, she trained as a special in the police force on Channel 4’s ‘Famous and Fighting Crime’. She also presents ‘Extraordinary People’ which is a weekly podcast focused on real-life stories that both influence and uplift.

Piper will tell agents and other delegates about her journey in life and to give a truly relatable and honest insight into the power of personal confidence, determination, and inner strength.

Jason Lee, Head of Commercial at Propertymark comments: “Katie is one of the keynote speakers at Propertymark One I am most proud to announce. Her experiences and selflessness are nothing short of truly inspirational. I am very much looking forward to seeing her on stage delivering an interactive session including questions from attendees (which can be emailed to [email protected])”
