Mainstream lettings agency diversifies into short-lets management

Todays other news

A holiday lettings agency and an estate agent in a tourist hotspot have joined forces.

Suffolk Coastal will continue with its sales and mainstream lettings activities but will also open a new Southwold office after teaming up with Air Manage Suffolk – a holiday lets management company.

The parent agency therefore now offers holiday tenancies and holiday home management for Airbnb and other short let platform hosts, as well as long-term lets and sales.

Suffolk Coastal has taken up the brand rights to Air Manage Suffolk while the previous licence holders – who have operated under the brand for five years – are Iin future operating under a new brand called Stay In Suffolk.

Air Manage Suffolk says it’s targeting not only tourists but also Sizewell C workers seeking serviced apartments and short-term accommodation.

Suffolk Coastal managing director Tim Day says: “We are thrilled to have finalised this deal which not only strengthens our business but also enables us to provide our clients with a comprehensive range of services – including sales, long-term lettings, holiday lettings and serviced apartments.

“The growing trend for short-term holiday lets or short breaks shows no sign of slowing down, so by combining bespoke rental agreements with traditional lettings, we can deliver an exclusive service that meets the needs of property owners as well as guests.

“It’s an exciting time, and we’re thrilled to be meeting these ever-changing needs.”
