OnTheMarket hits record high advertising totals

OnTheMarket continues on its path to try to become the number one property portal, with a boast that it has a record high advertising figure.

The portal now has in excess of 15,000 advertisers on its books, which includes both agents and developments, exceeding its previous high of 13,867 recorded back in June 2020.

The milestone comes just weeks after the OnTheMarket provided its first performance update following its acquisition by global real estate information service CoStar.

In particular, unique monthly visitors rose 81% year on year and the number of agent offices increased by 10% in the month since the CoStar acquisition was finalised.

The news also follows the recent signings of major estate agency and developer brands including the likes of Leaders Romans Group, Edward Mellor and Rettie, who have begun advertising their properties with OnTheMarket as part of new listing agreements.

OTM president Jason Tebb says: “Surpassing 15,000 advertisers marks another significant milestone in our journey to becoming the number one, agent-friendly residential property portal in the UK. I’m proud to have each of our advertisers on board and their support is a strong endorsement of the direction the business is going.

“We are committed to continuing to provide the service and platform our agent and developer customers value at fair and sustainable prices. With the backing, expertise, and resources of CoStar Group, we believe we are well-placed to change the UK portal landscape.”
