Agents, Start Your Engines – Formula 1 figures to address agents

Letting agents are being invited to two senior Formula 1 figures on how to improve their performance.

Neil Martin has held senior strategy positions at McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari and as far back as the late 1990s pioneered different strategy approaches to races, gaming possible scenarios and decision-making techniques for use in the event of safety cars, weather changes or random events during a race.

Now on June 5 at 2.30pm he will be in a webinar held by Modern Method of Auction service Iamproperty, where he will be joined by the auction firm’s customer success manager Dan Milne. Attendees will be entered into a prize draw to win their very own Ferrari experience at Silverstone.

Milne says: “We are really excited to be joined by Neil for this event. There is so much we can learn and apply to the property industry from his highly successful career in Formula 1. We see a lot of synergies in what we are trying to achieve, as just like Formula 1 we are constantly innovating to deliver speed, efficiencies, reduce risk and drive results for our partner agents.

“As we prepare to launch our CRM solution to the market, Neil felt like the perfect spokesperson to help us mark the launch with an exciting exclusive event that we know will add a lot of value to agents. We hope to see as many agents as possible joining us on the day, to take advantage of the chance to put their questions to Neil. The webinar is exclusively live and won’t be available on demand, so it really is not to be missed.”

Ten days later another F1 figure – Claire Williams, the former team principal of the legendary Williams Formula One Team – will be a speaker at the Propertymark One event.

Williams – whose father Frank founded the team – will deliver a keynote speech on Building a Strong Culture in Your Business. She led the Williams Formula 1 racing team until 2020: during its decades run by the Williams family its legendary drivers included Ayrton Senna, Damon Hill, Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell, Alan Jones and many others.

Under her leadership, Williams finished 3rd in the World Championship for Constructors in 2014 and 2015, the team’s best performance since 2003. Today she is a global Brand Ambassador for WAE Technologies, previously known as Williams Advanced Engineering, which focuses on the decarbonisation of heavy transport through the development of advanced, sustainable, green technologies.
