A new platform for the mydeposits custodial scheme has launched this week, incorporating features inspired by feedback from members and designed to increase ease of compliance.

The mydeposits service now becomes part of a new Total Property platform.

Chief executive Eddie Hooker says: “Since mydeposits began in 2007, we have been steadfast in our commitment to providing the best possible service for our customers and have always sought to offer innovative solutions to streamline processes and support constructive communication across all parties.

“The launch of our new platform is the culmination of our vision to transform the way landlords, agents and tenants interact with us. And this is just the beginning! We will continue to keep you updated as we move through our platform upgrade roadmap and new features are released.”

The launch of the Total Property platform is described by parent company Hamilton Fraser as “the first stage of a major digital transformation project which will eventually provide a comprehensive suite of property products, advice and services to support landlords, agents and tenants throughout all stages of a rental lifecycle.”

Recent enhancements include how to download protection history, prescribed information and payment history.
