Today - ESTAS shortlists for three top industry awards

The ESTAS has revealed the nominations for three of its most prestigious categories to complete the shortlist for the 2024 awards.

The ESTAS People Awards category was introduced 14 years ago to highlight the efforts of individuals working across agency, conveyancing and mortgage broking.

The shortlist is based on thousands of customer reviews where individuals are mentioned by name for the exceptional service they delivered. Fifty individuals have made the shortlist and 10 will be honoured at the awards where they will receive a special trophy.

The ESTAS Supplier of the Year Awards, sponsored by Angels Media every year, started in 2010 – they are the longest running supplier awards in the property industry.

All suppliers who use the ESTAS customer review platform have a chance to be shortlisted as the results are based on the scores submitted by agents themselves who rate how important supplier services are to their own business success.

A record 28,000 agent ratings were submitted and 30 property supplier firms have made the shortlist. Suppliers will be recognised in ‘Best in Sector’ categories as well having a chance to the win the overall ‘Supplier of the Year’ title at the ESTAS Awards Ceremony in October.

ESTAS host Phil Spencer says: “The products and services provided by suppliers to agents are an integral part of the customer experience agents deliver to their clients so it’s only right that The ESTAS recognise the contribution those suppliers make to the whole moving experience.”

The third and final shortlist is for the Women in Estate Agency community which ESTAS has supported since 2022.

Thirty women from across the UK property industry have been honoured and five of these will be presented with a special award from the chair of the WiEA Verona Frankish at The ESTAS in October.

Verona says: “I’d like to thank The ESTAS for their continued support of WiEA and, in particular, for creating dedicated awards in recognition of the incredible contribution that so many women make to our industry and their local communities, as well as supporting and empowering each other – everything that WiEA stands for! We are excited to play a small part in acknowledging these achievements at The ESTAS later this year!”

The 21st annual ESTAS Awards ceremony – sponsored for the first time by Reapit and PayProp – will be held on Friday 18th October at the Grosvenor House in London. The unique event will bring together over 1,000 of the best agents, conveyancers, mortgage brokers and suppliers to network and celebrate their success.

ESTAS founder Simon Brown concludes: “It’s our 21st anniversary this year so it’s going to be an extra special day for everyone who attends. We’re going to be celebrating with some more significant announcements to follow in the coming months.”
