Pattinson Estate Agency has taken the unusual step of saying it’s looking for rival lettings operations to buy.
The family-owned agency is the largest in the North East and over the last six months has acquired Ryedales in Cramlington, Browns in Norton and NS Bennetts in Stanley. These have boosted the Pattinson branch network to 28.
Chairman Keith Pattinson – who founded the business 47 years ago – says: “We are actively seeking further opportunities to acquire or take over other estate agencies and related businesses.
“Our acquisition strategy is designed to integrate seamlessly, ensuring continuity and growth for the businesses we take on. We are committed to retaining the existing stock, staff and even the owners if they wish to continue their involvement working day to day in the business.”
Group managing director Justin Beckwith adds: “Our expansion reflects our commitment to enhancing our service offerings and market presence, and we invite estate agency owners interested in exploring acquisition opportunities to contact us and learn more about the process and the benefits. We endeavour to offer a seamless integration process, ensuring continuity and stability for all involved in the businesses acquired.”
