An interview with a figure from one of the many deposit alternative services reveals a significant rise in interest in this kind of facility.

Gurman Bains, sales lead at the Reposit service, says the combination of a cost of living crisis and rising rents thanks to exiting landlords, have led to more interest in deposit alternatives. 

This is the case amongst high-value renters as well as the mainstream, he says.

In a video interview with Lee Dahill of Angels Media, Bains provides detailed analysis and figures showing the trend, and shares his insights on the current state of the lettings market and his predictions for the future.
